Terms

Terms of service

These terms cover your use of Podium. They are written in plain language on purpose — if anything here is unclear, ask us rather than guessing.

Last updated August 2026

Your account

You need an account to use Podium, and you are responsible for what happens under it. Keep your password to yourself, use an email address you actually control, and let us know if you think your account has been accessed by someone else. Accounts are for individual people; do not share one set of credentials across a team.

Your content stays yours

The presentations, slides, notes and images you put into Podium remain yours. We store and process them solely to provide the service to you — to display your workspace, sync your changes and run the features you choose to use. We do not claim ownership, and we do not use your content to train AI models.

Acceptable use

Use Podium for its purpose and do not use it to harm others or the service.

  • Do not upload content you do not have the right to store or present
  • Do not upload unlawful material, or material that infringes someone else's rights
  • Do not attempt to access another account, probe the service for weaknesses outside a good-faith security report, or interfere with its availability
  • Do not resell or rebrand Podium as your own product

Plans and limits

Podium has a Free plan and a Pro plan. Free includes 2 projects and 6 presentations, which is enough to run the tool properly before deciding. Pro removes those limits. Plan limits are enforced by the service, and if you downgrade while over the Free limits, existing content stays readable but you will not be able to create new items until you are back within them.

Billing and renewal

Pro costs $7 per month, or $60 per year when billed annually (advertised as $5 per month). Prices are in US dollars. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. Payment is handled by our payment provider; we do not receive or store your card details.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time from the billing page in your account. Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep Pro access until the end of the period you have already paid for. If something has genuinely gone wrong — a duplicate charge, a renewal you tried to cancel, a subscription you never used — email us and we will sort it out fairly.

Service availability

Podium is provided as-is. We work to keep it available and to avoid data loss, but we do not offer a formal uptime guarantee, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service. Keep your own copies of presentations that matter to you.

Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or that is being used to harm the service or other people, and where it is reasonable to do so we will tell you why first.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. The date at the top of this page shows the current version, and continuing to use Podium after a change means the updated terms apply.
