Importing slides
Podium builds presentations from slide images, so whatever tool you designed in — Keynote, PowerPoint, Google Slides, Figma, ProPresenter — you can bring the finished result in.
Export your slides as images
In your design tool, export the deck as PNG or JPEG images, one file per slide. Most tools name the exports sequentially, which is exactly what Podium needs to reconstruct the order.
- PNG keeps text crisp; JPEG is smaller for photo-heavy slides
- Export at the resolution you will present at, or higher
- Keep the sequential filenames your tool generates
Drop them into a presentation
Open the presentation and drag the whole set of images onto it. Podium uploads them together, sorts them by filename, and creates one slide per image. You can also use the file picker if you would rather browse than drag.
Check the order
Once imported, slides appear in a grid. Drag any slide to move it, and the order updates for everyone viewing that presentation. If an export came in out of sequence, this is a two-second fix rather than a re-export.
Add speaker notes
Select a slide and write the notes you want in front of you while presenting. Notes live with the slide, so they follow it if you reorder the deck, and they appear in presenter view rather than on the audience screen.
If an upload is rejected
Podium checks each file before storing it: the type must be a supported image format, and the file's contents must actually match that format. A rejected upload usually means the file is a PDF, a video, or an image that was renamed rather than converted. Re-export it as PNG or JPEG and try again.
Bring your existing decks in
Import a deck you already have and see the whole library view come together.
